What an awesome idea... I did this with two other friends, myself as the warrior tank, another as a druid healer and the third a mage for damage. It was fun leveling, but we did questing and instances.Now I want to try it as a five-man group for instances and such only! :P
One of my best friends & I leveled twin paladins together from 1 to 66 (we stopped there in 2.1). As I was Holy, he was Protection, we tanked & healed every Alliance dungeon (and a few Horde ones) including the classic ones such as Stratholme, Scholomance, etc.Our guild was called the <Scarlet Sisterhood> and we played on a PVP realm (the same one Miyari plays on, in fact). As we purged the land of all evil, and jerks, we would /pray for our fallen adversaries. The most fun element was getting our epic Charger mounts together after having cleansed Plaguewood. It was really great.I actually intended to turn our adventures into short stories & even had a blog centered around our experiences, but I let that die off. At level 40, we stopped playing the paladins for a while since I was in a car accident. At level 66, we decided to go our separate ways for TBC & I began work on my warrior. Paladins didn't impress me in TBC, but they're a force to be reckoned with in WLK. That's for sure.
I'm attempting to start a 5 man all tauren druid group. Same idea. YOU STOLE IT! :P
I lvl my holy priest this way. No questing, just run instances. Too bad I dont have a static group, its always random people. But I see what you've done here and it really sounds like fun to me ;)
I beginned WoW with 4 of my friends, and even before we bought the games, we planned what classes we'll create.I play as a Enha Shaman, and my friends were;
We got one recruit already. :DNow we just need 3 more suckers people.
:) awesome post dude I too have a group like this, we're new to the game, and we didn't called ourselves a static party, but rather a gang xD.we don't level exclusively by instance, we also quest together.the game can be fun to solo, but when you get your real life friends and family to play with ya, is just awesome.my small group is composed by:Me=Death Knight lvl 61My brother = warrior lvl 62My cousin= rogue lvl 60My cousin's girlfriend=Priest lvl 63My Best friend= Shaman lvl 61I started as a paladin, but after 58 I rerolled to Death Knight (Role-play :P we play in an RP server, and for RP reasons my holy crusader became a fallen crusader) I waited to 58 to roll a DK, cause If I had made it at 55, then by the end of the DK starting chain I'd be 3 lvls ahead of my group, so I rather waited untill all 5 of us were 58 and ready to outland to roll the DK.is nice to see that other plp have a fixed party to do things togheter, is great.we really can't wait untill we are high enough to do the wrath-gate event togheter.we did the DK quest-chain together, but they all dropped their DK's and sticked to their original classes to keep our group cool :Pso far we've cleared many of the pre-bc instances (notable exeptions are Stockades, we ain't getting near this one untill we ding 80 xD cause we're horde, scholomance, everything inside blackrock mountain, gnomeregan the cementary of the scarlet monastery, one of the wings of dire maul, and blackfathom deeps)we have planed to clear them all, but we mostly focus on questing, when a quest takes us to an instance, then so be it, but if we dont' HAVE to go then we don't.of the whole group only my brother and me have been playing since TBC (me=druid, my brother=warrior he just can't let go of that tin-can xD)but after WOTLK since we had a full group and we love to roleplay, then we decided to start fresh on an RP server.as for a name of our little gang, we don't ahve one :P "the furious five" sounds cool, but that's taken.so I guess "the five gummi-bears" will sufice xD I guess our motto would be "united by blood, we fight in friendship, and will die with honor"
Come on, you're telling me there's only one other person on this darn forum that wants to get this going? >:l
