I loved the Ember Court until I rolled a Necrolord alt and saw how ridiculously useful the Abomination Factory is. Then I realized that the Ember Court is a massive anima sink with nothing useful to show for it. It was neat when I thought all of the covenants' fourth building were just for flavor and transmogs. Now I'm left really annoyed that I wasted so much anima on it. It's a massive time sink that is very poorly explained, largely undocumented (even here on Wowhead; many of the events I've encountered do not exist anywhere on Google except as data mining entries) and lackluster in rewards. The story and theme of it is a lot more fun than planting a garden, don't get me wrong, but I will never invest anima in it for future Venthyr alts.
I guess if the Vampires get valentines... will Necrolords get Day of the Dead?
I'm also a bit miffed that Venthyr are getting event-related stuff for their covenant activity. It doesn't matter if it's a party and therefore it fits, Blizzard made it that way. So it's up to Blizzard to make 75% (or whatever) of the playerbase not feel left out.Yeah, it's less easy to fit events onto what the other covenants have to offer, but that is Blizzard's problem. They designed the system, even when a vast number of people weren't on board with covenants in the first place. So they don't get to make excuses, and so far they haven't. But players have, on their behalf, and I don't understand why.
Venthyr get themed ember courts according to a YEARLY holiday Night fae can transform in all animals they want with the soulshapeNecrolords gat a bro to come with them all over the placeKyrian... idk i think they don't get extra stuff :/, but the owl dude is kinda pogEveryone get's extra stuff, but people always think the grass is greener on the other side. The ember court is a 10 min thing ONCE / WEEK, so you get to see the festivities once and that's it...
