These people making "last Rextroy article yay" Etc.clearly are not aware he's been doing this kinda stuff without PVP scaling for ages and he will continue to find his way to posts with creative uses of game mechanics.weird hatred for the guy honestly
Full damage and healing values have been in pvp in SL beta so it checks out unless someone starts being a turd hitting lower geared people again
Blizzard needs to make an announcement that pvp scaling is no more and pay tribute to the man, Rextroy, who singlehandedly took down pvp scaling. Maybe with a pvp vendor?
Thank god, maybe PvP makes fun to play again. Thanks to Rextroy who blamed Blizz in so many videosUnfort. he runs out of content now
REJOICE!
I think personally, that PVP scaling is a good idea in concept (allowing people who haven't played as much to still have a chance in PVP) but the execution of it was piss poor, which is the whole reason Rextroy is able to make his videos. Destiny 2 does PVP scaling just fine, but blizz apparently can't pull it off.
now, please, remove world mob scaling! I want level up, gear up and become stronger! I want one-shot mobs when I max-level and high ilvl.
finally! no more Rextroy for some time!
THANK GOD
next up.. Rexi boy as hunter and his lvl 1 pets, one-shots the entire xpac... using Transmog only!
Thank god the game is saved in PVP
Holy cannolis. I lived long enough to see it happening
He did it, that Rextroy guy did it.
I'm extremely happy about this thanks for finally listening Blizzard. Shouldn't have taken this long but glad it's gone nonetheless.
Finally half of the wow comunity thanks you Rextroy for fixing wow for us. The other half will hate you no matter why, probably the envy you.
I hate both PVP and PVE scaling. The whole tangible point of an RPG is making your character stronger over time. What's the point of putting the effort into making or earning gear if trash mobs and fresh newbies will always scale up to be as relatively powerful as you, and likewise be as tanky as you? There's plenty of other non-RPG games where gear and stats dont matter, and everyone is equal in power right out of the box, and will stay equal in power throughout. Also, there's some PVPers who are crying to the heavens that it wont be fair that "dragonslayers" will have an easier time gearing up in mythics than a PVPer will with earning gear purely with PVP. Hello! They're making it so people who only want to play WoW to PVP can earn gear through PVP exclusively. You cant cry that pvp will be too hard, if the only reason you play WoW is to PVP.To hell with scaling, and everyone who compares a freaking core RPG mechanic to something like pay to win.
WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! I cant believe till i experience it !P.S: I just tried with lvl30 character and there is still templates and scaling in BGs ?
There is still some type of scaling, as for retail when as a rogue i have 64% mastery and i do 64% damage with my finishing moves BUT when i get into pvp combat outside arenas and bgs it scales down to 61% and when i'm in a bg no matter how much mastery i have it says i have 61% mastery for example but also says that my finishing moves do 49% bonus damage. Kinda sad since i was trying to mastery stack as much as possible :(
A system to balance PvP damage needs to be implemented. Blizz took the lazy road out and just disabled it rather than make scaling work within each level a character is currently in. A geared lvl 20 should be able to kill a fresh lvl 20, but a lvl 20 killing a 120 is obviously stupid. I liked PvP templates the only drawback was the fact you were gimped when stacking your favored secondary stats. They could have just added that in. Shadowlands Beta is showing PvP to be stun and burst in a global which is absolutely no fun. One-shot macros are going to be back (already are, Pre-patch is a waste of time to mention) The PvP vendor solves absolutely nothing except make for a frustrating grind to those who don't gear with PvE. Blizz is wasting all this time and effort to draw in the highest subscription for a pre-patch ever, all to lose the majority of those subs when they realize that PvP is not fixed at all.
