did somebody say ...
Beep boop Timewalking fun detected. RIP my min/max set's Legion legos(they alone added a ton of DPS).
Why can't they just make them disabled when they enter a dungeon/timewalking dungeon? With every expansion before Shadowlands scaling between 1 and 50, each of their respective endgame content is now relevant again. There has always been a reason to go back and work hard to farm/make boe gear for twinking, and now there's a wider range of options than ever before. I think if someone wants to go into Shadowlands with a mixed T2-T5 set with a Thunderfury and a Blazefury, and a host of Legion legendaries then they should have that bizarre option open for them. If that still seems a bit extreme for Blizz, then they could have them disabled at level 55, like legos in BfA.(the ranting bit)I worked myself to the bone getting each legendary short of the WoD ring, the MoP capes and Atiesh (for reasons you can guess), and I planned on actually using them going into Shadowlands. I don't want all that time to go to waste. I don't like the idea that I spent about a year total getting these special items that won't be so special come the pre-patch, I don't think anyone likes that idea. It's awesome that Blizzard talks to the community about topic concerning the state of the game, I just personally hope that this gets added to the discussion.
The problem I have with Legendaries is even if they don't work, I can't force myself to get rid of anything with orange letters. That and I think the legion ones are indestructible anyways, but still. >>I will sincerely miss using them in Timewalking, made it nice, quick and painless. xD
Fun detected. Really don't see a point on this other than removing content. Can't use them past 115, so why? People running old dungeons for mogs too quickly? Thats why bear tartar is gone too right?
They really shouldnt remove the vendor.
Fun detected...
I’m definitely not in favour of this. The Legion legendaries have been a greatly valued part of my timewalking sets.I also dislike that they’re removing the vendor—there are still a bunch I hadn’t got around to collecting for transmog :(So, add to the “list of things to do before pre-patch”: buy any Legion legendaries you’re missing for transmog (if you have, or can collect, enough of the currency. /sigh).Oh—and this will collapse the already slow-to-sell (but big profit) market for the craftable legendaries, too.
Wtf? Why? Does this mean they will no longer work in Timewalking? I love using the MoP cloak, Shadowmourne and 2 Legion leggoes on my warrior in Timewalking, plz tell me this will still be possible! There's also no reason to not allow Legion leggoes to work for lvls like 40 to 45-50...
Fun detected.Is always relevant.
WoW's moving ever closer to each expansion becoming a fully self-contained experience where everything introduced in an expansion remains in that expansion. They're more like separate games now than they are additions to a single game because Blizzard's trying their damnedest to make sure nothing really gets added long-term anymore.
at least my tailor engineer gets to visit her garrison still. I guess they don't know how to make that expansion specific.I feel like it's a shame that tailor engineers haven't figured out a type of face mask that would protect them from the zombie plague.
Rip my speed sets. It'd be great if they just made an heirloom-like set of armour specifically made to give speed boosts in legacy loot mode content where it wouldn't affect the main game and thus wouldn't need to be nerfed every expansion.
They alienate people with this stuff. I guess they have spreadsheets that tell them it makes them more money regardless. Sad given how much time some people have spent on this game in the past.
That's pretty sad to hear but understandable and kinda predictable, since they already axed the old tier set bonuses to not have to worry with balancing after multiple squishes and revamps. I'm glad I got the infinite drake a couple weeks ago, it was pretty much my only reason to run TW, and the only place my leggos still had some use.
