I Main a hunter , have done for 14 years, some new pets tames are cool but some recently have gone abit too far and just don't make sense, Hunters should be able to tame creatures and animals only anything else just doesn't make sense to me. plus on a practice side, some just are not. This new addition to Hunters tame pool is obviously aimed at the "casual" side of the player base, those that really don't understand the game and how to play it Nothing worse than being in a pug raid and some dumb ass hunter joins with 2 x huge Rhino's as pets, melee can't see anything, tanks struggle to see the boss, see ability's on the floor, aoe ability's etc etc etc...........and now celestial's ! thats just a %^&* ton of more sparkly graphics around a boss to make the boss harder, any good Hunter that does understand the game , understands about teamwork in a raid, group environment is and does use a small, minimalist pet and they do that for a reason. personally I think Hunters already have a massive pool of tames available like 1000's and 1000's of different skins and looks, it would have made abit more sense to add some equal possibility for other pet classes , Warlocks, mage etc
Just gotta love how some people have to whine and cry whenever it's not their class getting anything. Yes, we're getting another tame, so what? Never seen a more spoiled bunch of brats than WoW players.

I understand your point and can understand the RP value in variety, but in group, raid environments were this element of the game is not needed, wanted and does not add any help at all to the goals, some pets should be minimized, made smaller and less graphical in group instanced content because they are just down right annoying, create Hunter hate, nothing is added but negatives and this is from a 14 year CE Hunter main who's seen it all.

Glyph still available, but it doesn't "shrink" them by much and yeah with animal companion active its kind useless. With the current meta for BM and Bestial Wrath near 100% uptime your pets are always 200% bigger anyways going back to my original post and having some Hunter in raid group with a big obnoxious pet active, some Hunters think its cool to have a pet bigger than the bosses but its annoying, makes it alot harder, tanks hate them, melee hate them, I'm all for variety and fun etc but sometimes thers a limit with what works with the game and what does not.
Is my pet gonna go: 'MMMMWUAAHMMWUUAAH Draaawiing from reseeerve poowwers!' ?
This is good, but can you buff the AI? Pathing issues are really bad in some places - hi BoD trash going to monkey boss for alliance. Can't get that one pack if you pull the one before it 'cause of no logical explanation. The delay on using their "auto attack abilities" by 2 pet global cooldowns is also not exactly fun. It encourages making a macro for it and pretty much spamming so that they cast that as soon as its up (or another ability). I can't wait to see more spirit beasts though, I am sure with a wotlk throwback death realm expansion there has to be more models or variations of current ones.

Thank god I already have the mount. For those who have to make that choice (mount chance or tame) , I'll be thinking of you. The struggle is *real*!
for all of you complaining about the size of pet, i said f...k it, over the years i been dealing with melee screwing me when they move wrong or *!@# like that, so f...k i will bring the biggest 2 pet i can tame to raid just to annoy them and laugh, hell i still miss the Devilsour when the roar use to be general and annoy everyone. Annoying other on a raid or group environment with my pet, make my day as a hunter.
