Lets be real, everyone would be happy to be rid of Tyrandae.
Can I just let Tyrande die instead of help her?
Her obsession, her bull headed vengeance ritual. It's not vengeance when there's been no justice for the Night Elves and the victims of Teldrassil. One valkyr and a few nameless npcs does not equate justice for one of the worst war crimes since the so called "path of glory."But instead of offering any real assistance to the Night Elves in reclaiming their lands, or helping their people, they got told to fend for themselves and were left to wander homeless wherever anyone would take them in.So Tyrande and her people fought alone to take back their homeland and bring justice (not vengeance) for the murdered non combatant, men, women, and children who were burned alive by the horde. Who also, in the same act, wiped out nearly all of the night elves history, art, heritage, and major religious sites in a single blow. That's the literal definition of genocide. The Night Elves, as we know them today, will cease to exist within a generation because everything that was their history and defined them as a people was destroyed when that tree burned down. And the dev team blows it off like it was nothing, and plays Tyrande as the villain because she wants justice for her people and not just pretty words from the boy king who did nothing in her people's hour of need.Look to the last century of human history, and if after the end of World War II, if instead of the Nuremberg Trials, every guard, and mastermind behind the horrors committed by the axis, instead of being tried and held to account...was instead given a free pass and allowed to play the "I was only following orders" card (the literal Nuremberg defense), as this played out for those who helped burn down Teldrassil did. But now, that's exactly the message this dev team is sending: blame all your evil acts on one person (let's call it "The banshee defense"), and you can get a free pass, no accountability, no justice for the victims of the crimes, and anyone who does speak for the victims, or demands justice is the bad guy. This isn't surprising, considering the recent debacle with the hearthstone protest and the fallout from that, and who owns a percentage in blizzard's parent company.I wonder how many people who are fine with how this played out have the "no justice no peace slogan" somewhere in their home, office, or posted on a social media account. She will go through hell itself to catch her and deliver justice for Teldrassil.Of course she will. It's not like anyone else will at this point.
Don't end Kel'thuzad like this, he deserves more spotlight than just a scenario. You could make him a dungeon boss or someone who we will have on our side instead of just ending him like this, he's not entiretely bad person and his knowledge might be useful to us just as much as Bolvars.
