Well, no need to get any corruption as tank I guess (or at most the avoidance one). Seems a shame most itemization these days is focused on dps.
So crit is 3/3/4 %, but all other stats are 3/5/6 ?
Avoidance is the last of the useless ones. Though it could be completely broken depending on values, and maybe tanks could use it sorta?
The secondary stat bonus affixes are kind of a waste of space too. They work out to be worth roughly the same as 1 socket for rank 1 up to 2 sockets for rank 3, however they have the obvious corruption drawback without the flexibility of being able to socket your best stat.
Secondary stats for tanks increase their DPS but also their mitigation (Mastery being the best example).
Wow they flat out removed all the defensive options.When are tanks going to be tanks again and not just mitigation-based DPS?Tank design has been so off for so long now, give us actual interesting defensive options instead of just making everything hit for 90% of health pools and banking on active mitigation/CDs up 24/7

Damn, I was hoping to see what a guardian druid with 1mil hp and 200% in combat health regen would feel like.
Damn it, the healing received bonus would have been good for tanks. Crit damage doesn't help me tank better, 6% more healing received would have. Not everything needs to be useful to dps to be useful period.
Tanks do dps too. They easily do 50-60% as much as a dps would do. Damage mitigation past not dying is next to useless. Every tank worth their salt would take 5% more dmg dealt over 5% less dmg taken.
I have a Blood DK and those stats they removed were useless.I dont know what's the fuss about it? Professional complainers? Noob tanks?I am not good at theorycrafting but I can tell you this.Those bonuses would have amounted to nothing.The levels of corruption needed to make that extra healing make any impact comes at a greater negative effects and if you keep them low 60 or 600hp extra heal would make no difference.Same with the damage reduction on dots and the health regen in combat is pretty much useless espcially when you are hit hard and fast.Before that trait would have procced even 1k health regenerated in combat you would die alot of times.All I am saying is......that they did a good thing they removed them and I dont understand the problems some have with it.
