The Mithril Frag Bomb is one of the best-in-class bombs, due to a large effect radius, relatively cheap materials, and short cast time. It also has a better-than-average throw range of up to 15 yards. While the stun time is short, it's plenty to stop momentum of a runner and interrupt multiple spell casters.

This represents the essence of Goblin engineering's strength: really big booms. It doesn't have the stun effects of other bombs, but it sure packs a huge punch. This beauty can also crit, adding to the damage. It does damage the caster as well, but that's just part of the fun of being a true Goblin Sapper.

For Goblin Engineers, this is a great bomb, with the largest blast radius in the game (10 yards) and longest stun time. One possible sticking point is the need for Гоблинское ракетное топливо, which requires a 210 Alchemist to make. Still, if you can find someone willing to make your fuel for you, it can be worth it. It's the large number of component ingredients and the requirement of another crafter that downgrades this slightly from the Мифриловая осколочная бомба.

As an avowed altoholic, my mains change frequently. In Classic, I primarily play an Orc Warlock (Tailor/Skinner). My mains in Retail are an Orc Rogue (Alchemist/Herbalist), Blood Elf Paladin (Inscriptionist/Herbalist), and a Pandaren Mage (Engineer/Miner), but I currently have 14 level 120s, most with maxxed professions.

I love professions, farming (weird, I know!) and finding new and different ways to play and approach the game. I'm not much into raiding or min/maxing, so I guess I'd be classified as a "very avid casual".

I am a co-host of the World of Warcast podcast, from 2006-2009 and from 2016 to present. During the original years, I co-hosted most of the episodes during Vanilla, so I have a history of game journalism during the original release of the game.
