Oh please don't let tyrande be the next victim.
Those 2 will be what keep the Horde and Alliance fighting. I'm hoping for a day that we can choose any race and any faction. But after their absence in the BFA campaign cinematic, I see this being what causes the stalemate to continue into future expansions.
Maybe Tyrande is dead? Or being controlled by Sylvanas/the Old Gods?
Tyrande COULD somehow trigger the "End Time" to happen. But that is anyone's wild guess.
This entire expansion has been a huge dump on the Night Elves. 8.1 was a rushed mess that they obvioulsy had no real passion for and did not answer ANYTHING. If they had had any more in-depth plans for it, the Darkshore-Situation would have been brought up and RESOLVED before this 8.2.5 nonsense. I mean...obviously Sylvanas' Scourge is no longer supporting the Battle for Darkshore...so obviously this conflict is LONG over now....but Blizzard says exactly NOTHING about it. Because they don't care. They can still fix this, though. They COULD make 8.3 a patch about the Night Elves reclaiming and rebuilding their home with a little side-story about the Forsaken clearing Undercity. But OF COURSE they would never do this.Instead, it is arguably more likely they will indeed try and turn Tyrande into a Villain.
What of the Amara Lunastar npc? If Forsaken Night Elves become an allied race? If Sylvanas ressurects the population of Darnassus? Or if this Dark Side of Elune Resurrects them herself? Like how The Light did with Calia? Will Tyrande's outlook change?
WHAT IF Blizzard was setting some sort of old WC3 factions-Humans/Alliance-Orcs/Horde-Night Elves (with Tyrande missing, and can't think Nelves will forgive their genocide)-UndeadMay be really stupid speculation, but can be true
I fully expect blizzard to continue their bull@#$% writing and turn Tyrande into some crazy bad #$%^& just for wanting justice

Thank you for bringing attention to the issue with this post. WoWhead is sure to be a bigger voice than just us complaining on forums.
It is so hard to read fan speculation. I don't want to stop! LOL. I love that there are still fans. I worry, too, that they will make Tyrande a villain. But, she has done what was necessary in the past. She did release Illidan once upon a time to fight the legion. She did the ritual and empowered herself despite knowing the risks and the past failed attempts by others. It isn't like she doesn't have a pretty damned good reason. Unfortunately, vengeance preys on itself. She and Genn would have to let go in order for any other potential peace talks to come to fruition. I was saddened to see how events had affected Jaina. But we came around. The story could see these others come around, too. They are still living AND have things to live for. Sylvannas, does not. Fear of her own death (again) is what compels her. She has nothing else to lose. That makes for a heinously dangerous villain. Even Garrosh had his vision for Horde domination. Sylvanas just views them as mere instruments to effect her plan to escape death (and apparently master/control it). There is still the matter of all of the death figures (Lich King, Bwonsamdi, etc) and what parts they still may have to play.I can't wait to see what comes.
no she is not dead
