could be an awesome quest giver with changing questlines related to various comic book stories.
I'd love to see Stanley as Orphanage patron. surrounded by Orcish child Hulksodraenei Child Gamoranetcwith some of the children with Marvel Heroes name references

I'm not crying there's just some dust in my eyes and its making them water!
Let this be a proof that corporate leeches from Activision hadn't completely undertook Blizzard. Or so several people believe.Thank you for making this tribute to the legend of a man, Blizzard.
It we be awesome if he gave a mini buff like 2% stamina if you interact with him.
death is not the end... death is just another path... one that we all must take. all the world fades away and turns to silver glass... and then you see it... a WoW cameo... and a swift sunrise! tbh i can't wait for this to go live... Excelsior Stanley... For Azeroth!
If he doesn't show up in the middle of minor battles or quests that involve minor tasks and tell the Adventures that slayed and Titan and halted the Burning Legion that they "aren't that impressive and back in his day he could have done much better" then it is a wasted opportunity. Since most of his cameos were poking fun of the epic struggles by trivializing what was going on around him.
Stormwind Keep...where no Horde player can come and peacefully pay homage to him. Nice.
It's a shame that these kind of tributes usually come posthumously, he would have like this I think.
I think that Stan Lee's appeal was universal. Placing him exclusively in Stormwind even as a preliminary step seems rather narrow-minded and betrays the on-going Blizzard bias toward Alliance over Horde. Shouldn't Stan Lee's Stanley be rather like Maxmillian of Northshire or Robin, an NPC available to all factions and races. The people we love and admire are not the property of one faction or cause. Our love for them is its own faction and its own capital city.
Once again Jack Kirby gets left out. Kirby & Lee made a great team (Lee famously threw out Kirby's first several pages of Spider-man because Kirby wasn't getting the concept and market potential of having a young, unsure kid as a superhero in the 60s), but Kirby really deserves the lion's share of credit for Marvel's success. When Disney inducted Stan Lee as a Disney Legend, they recognized that and simultaneously posthumously inducted Jack Kirby. But Kirby died in 1994, so he didn't get to make cameos in the MCU and garner a broader fan following like Stan Lee. I'm kind of surprised that Blizzard didn't also put Kirby in like Disney did, because surely the Blizzard art team knows the massive influence Kirby had on comics.
At the very least, there is some part of Blizzard that aren't corrupted, this is the proof.
