All further replies to this post should be about the content of the post itself: what it takes to become a world first raider. Further discourse about Method, our posting of content involving Method, etc., will simply be deleted. Stay strictly on topic. Thank you.
The video was pretty terrible, basically telling you to shoehorn in a massive amount of time and money in an adult schedule to get a non reward. Its like they couldnt see past their own inflated sense of glory to see how out of touch the video was.
I tend to ignore anything about Method the world 1st races etc. In a way, these outside events have also added to my recent falling out with WoW. The top guild don't effect the little people who struggle weekly to get a reliable group raiding. If Method really wanted to help make WOW great again, they would do random drawing for one player a week and carry them for mythic kills. How about a true mythic 1st race, with zero add ons? That would be more epic, imo.I was the 1st on my Block to TKO Mike Tyson when Punch out came out, now that was a big deal! Damn I miss great video games that challenged people. That was before the dark times, before the internet.
Method is ruining the game. Blizz tunes end game for literally 10 guilds world wide.

TLDR: 1) Impress or befriend somebody from Method 2) join Method 3) prove yourself useful and raid with Method 4) Enjoy world first
On the topic of the article I always enjoy seeing top players talk about their work, I won't ever be that good but I live vicariously through them.
I think you're calling them the wrong thing. They're not world-first raiders. They're quality assurance testers. *sage nod*
What it Takes to Become a World First Raider ?Just ALMOST half of your daily life and sometimes all of it -_-
Wow is getting worse and worse day by day and all i hear is about method because they dont know what a job is and because blizzard is confronting them with money they go like ghouls"wow is so good we are the top bla bla bla" some players give no shii about those people and you definitely dont have to be in method to be a "pro or first".So sick of it.
Time, money, connections. Thats how. Plus there are other top end guilds available to discuss topics such as this, would be good to hear from other guilds as well.Disappointing how it often seems to be a closed shop, not that i have anything against Method who have built a fantastic community for those involved!
The talk about toxic comments can be easily rectified. Just don't read or partake in the comment section of any article. It's really a non-issue. I get where people are coming from, hearing over and over about guild A, B and D (to hell w C, though). The site can definitely become over saturated with constant reminders of said guild(s). This is a fan site though. And fans of those top guilds frequent wowhead so the content is very much relevant and appreciated. Unfortunately gaming news/articles are becoming more and more controlled by the streaming and sponsored communities. All sites no matter how good or bad you think they are, move away from what made them. That's just the nature of things.
