Did you watch any of the Blizzcon streams or attend the convention? What are you most looking forward to in the future of WoW?Yep! Watched all WoW-related streams/panels live along with my guild while raiding Heroic Uldir :P Most looking forward new Heritage armor sets, Warfront sets, new zones (Naz'jatar) and updated zones (still secretly hoping for Darkshore update....). Also still praying for Sethrak and/or High Elves for Alliance :D
I'm really excited at even the possibility of alchemy that uses reagents from more than just the current xpac. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I really wish the Tools of the Trade items werent so vague, especially Tailoring. I really hope Enchanting item gives expulsom, if it doesnt, at least I have a new pretty rod.
Horde and Aliance AH are connected so warfront is every week.
"5 Million Gold in One Month" so jelly. I am going to start farming now!
I've always had an interest for gold, mostly since the release of wow tokens so i could play for free.then they added blizzard balance as an option and then i really got into gold and spent most of it on those so i never got over 1M gold across all characters at once. when bfa launched i had my eyes on the long boi mount so i farmed in those BOE groups and also farmed herbs. saddly i still dont have that mount yet but im at 4.5M gold right now and slowly making my way up there. i think ill have enough in a week or 2 at most
Farming wise, its kinda interesting to see what sells best on your server. Group farming wise I have been and/or made ones for just boe greens and cloth instead of mount farming. Reason I have been doing this is because of the fact that bags still well on my server (Especially now since the base slots for BFA are 30 slots and the 32 slots are iffy but still good if they can sell). And BOE's to DE if they're basic also is a good market since sometimes DE'ing stuff from proffs is picky (Looking at YOU TAILORING BRACERS... need a green item and you give me a blue..) not what I end up needing for getting gloom dust but great for umbra shards. That aside, The economy has been even more interesting yet fickle in terms of the tmog area. You would think that some of these set recolors would sell well on the AH? Well thats not entirely true. EVEN the dragonrider's tattoo chest piece are having trouble selling due to how hard gold has been getting this expansion thus far. So that aside there are other ways of doing gold grinds and farmings which is the dreaded... *whispers* Old raid farming. Its still a good source of income long as you clean out your bags beforehand.
I've been considering finally getting back on the horse and farming again. Luckily I've been playing BM Monk since early Mists (Who else misses Ox Statue casting Guard on other raid members, or solo tanking Garrosh in Siege for heirloom farm groups?) so I think I might give it a shot and grind my BM up. Those BoE mounts look pretty rad (especially the bloodfeaster, it's a cutie!) so I'll probably try farming those first.
Only one month until Tides of Vengeance... personally, I’m most looking forward to the ingame cinematic for the tyrande/night warrior stuff. Hope it’s good!
I only use the AH to sell my skinning mats. I've noticed that the blood-stained bones sell by far the easiest and for the most - 6-7k for a full stack. I get decent money for hides and leather and linen, though never more than a tenth of what I get for the bones. Prices have been steadily dropping now that the xpac has been out for a few months.I never put my BOEs on the AH because I've never had much luck selling them. I almost always scrap them because that gives me more mats that I do sell, plus mats for leatherworking gear that I've been considering starting to sell.I main a WW monk, so if I ever decide to farm for mounts or gold, I'll definitely consider switching to BM.
"Have you farmed in groups in Battle for Azeroth, if so what did you farm? Are you more inclined to spend time farming for gold or do you prefer playing the Auction House? Do you have a second account for gold-making purposes?"I haven't done any of the group BOE farming. I personally find it incredibly boring without any other entertainment. I prefer spending my time farming for gold. I play on a high-pop server and playing the Auction House is very tedious and I do not have the patience for it. I also do not have a second account for gold-making purposes. I have thought about it, and it is something that I think would be greatly beneficial for me, so maybe I'll look into it in the future during end-expansion downtime.
Wow, 5 mil gold in one month is pretty killer. It can feel like a real %^&*ing pain to grind up gold especially to that amount
I can see where the 2x4 farming is great, but, I really wish people doing this method would choose better places for it. There is a group on my server that likes to do this in a spot in Nazmir that is right on one of the main traveling paths. If you happen to run past you end up getting dragged into the fight by the mobs they are tagging and then they get ticked off and start yelling at you for "stealing" their kills when all you've done is kill the mobs that are on you to try and get past them. It gets really obnoxious and they've been reported for harassment by multiple players because they don't talk to you nicely they literally start spamming you with all sorts of nasty messages. So yeah, if you're going to do the 2x4 don't be a jerk about it and choose where you are going to do it wisely.
the increased reward cache will help a lotr, i hope i get and alt ready for WQ and farm gild with a couple of characters im sure i will get a wow token worth of just WQ gold
