Things are moving forward.
"if you were not palying during Legion."
Although it's good that they acknowledged that ToV ilvl rewards are off in respect to its difficulty, I feel like a 10ilvl increase would be more appropriate than 5ilvls. Still, better than nothing. I wish they did the same with Karazhan. I really love that dungeon, but the rewards aren't really worth the trouble when you can just do Mythic+.
Hopefully the Prot pally hidden skin and Vengence hidden skins are made like 100% droprate or at elast buffed because i completely gav e up on my paaldin doing the army and my DH still doesnt have it from nearly 2 months.
"Helya's Trampling Charge"Don't you mean Guarm's Headlong Charge?
I really love these discussions with Ion. He seems to be a person whom generally loves what he does, and what he creates. The level of feedback and information from the Dev team is stupendous, never have there been such open, honest, and timely feedback. I'd love to see something done about the high learning curve, and difficulty cap for BrM Monks. A significant portion of the negative perception lies in the learning curve, in addition to the unique style of damage mitigation.
We removed reforging because upgrades should be easy, but we acknowledge we do a terrible job with secondary stats, so your 870 item is a downgrade to your 845 item. But no, you won't get reforging back.As usual logical, persuasive and no bad faith.
I'm rather worried about the unlocking of Artifact skins. Especially since I'd need to get the ones I want on all my Characters, which at this point seems rather unlikely for me to achieve.Since some appearences require a lot of time and effort (eg. Archaeology variants of weapons) and some require to completely unenjoyable content (which would be PvP in my case, though I'm willing to push my main through that) it would be a very unpleasant experience, to say at least, getting all characters the skins I'd want to have. This whole issue is amplified by the fact, that Legion seems to be an expansion which offers a lot of content, making it undesireable to even play the other characters at all.
Remember when reforging was sold as "making anything that dropped an upgrade?" Yeah, I do too. If you guys are going to break classes because they haven't hit certain stat breakpoints, then give us reforging back.
The Hidden Appearances are both a lot of fun and endlessly frustrating. I had a lot of fun obtaining my Hidden Appearance for Ashbringer but, I cannot seem to make headway with respect to the Dungeon-related tint. I have seen no one talk about this error, and blizzard refuses to talk about the Hidden Appearance in tickets, or even look into the matter to make sure there is no kind of error occurring.
interesting how brewmaster is actually fineI've trained myself to see 75% as the new 100% since cata (although back then it more closer to 50%) but the very few brewmaster i've pugged has generally hovered between 25% and 50% in HP during combat which imo is dangerousif they are mechanically sound maybe this is a learn to play issue... i don't have a clue how that can be solved. maybe ultimately it's just on us healers to give the tanks a go or accept that brewmasters are always going to hover at X% HP and to stop freaking out haha
I've healed both good and bad BM monks. The good ones can be at 35 to 50% health and I'll just keep my hots up (I play resto druid when healing) and they'll be fine. Maybe throw them something extra if they are staying low. The struggle with it is when you are healing one that doesn't know how to play the spec and it is really hard to keep them from dieing...
I really love how they are doing more community outreach like this.. It's awesome.
As a casual PvE player, I'd like to see less major storylines requiring Mythic dungeon runs. Even with an 850 ilvl, it can be grueling having to put the story on hold for hours or days while I try to find a group that will accept my queue-up. I would much prefer that the story can continue with only a basic LFG requirement, since I could care less about the gear or rewards involved.Maybe a better way to handle the story in Suramar, for instance, would be to have an optional questline with great rewards that requires Mythic dungeons while allowing the main storyline to continue without it? The current setup results in frustration and makes me feel like I'm missing a big chunk of the story simply because I can't find a group to run a mythic with...
"Blizzard welcomes a larger conversation among the community because perception is important - nobody wants to be rejected for a group even if their spec in theory should be good."This is the current problem with Ret paladins. The general view is that they are not up to par damage per second wise as other classes. Even with a relatively high ilvl, there is a ridiculous amount of rejection when forming groups. Obviously it depends on the player, but it would be nice to see them get some love. Especially since we have to fish for HOURS to get a hidden appearance.
Any ideas on why they are actively avoiding talking about heirlooms?Surely we're going to see an upgrade/upgrade mechanism in 7.2 at the latest?
