Большой меч адмирала Тейлора will be eligible for transmogrification in an upcoming 6.2 PTR build. To keep things fair, there will also be a Horde equivalent (in a different color) as a treasure that could be found in the Jungles of Tanaan.
If the item has been misplaced in the time since it was originally obtained, there will be an in-game way for players to obtain the sword again.
It will likely be a vendor. Details are still TBD at this stage.

I forgot about the way dates are written in the USA and read the headline as 6th October. Very pleased to see it is June instead.

Interesting link to the Blizzard employees service awards. They get different awards for 2, 5, 10, 15 and 20 years service. The (very large) company I work for gives its first service award at 25 years and the second at 40 years! Better than nothing I suppose.
