Yes because I love Dr Pepper
my vote goes for keeping the old captcha.never had problems with it and I like the idea of helping digitize books.not a fan of more advertising but if it helps you guys I'll have to live with it.
I really, really don't want to type ad slogans. I'm much less likely to comment if I have to. I just tell reCaptcha to give me new one if it's unintelligible. There are Captchas that tell you to click on the image that's a bunny like matty said.

I say stick with reCAPTCHA.The reason that sometimes you get strange words is that it needs you to type in what you think it is so it can learn how to better scan books to digital format.Only 1 word is actually used for verification, which is enough to prevent spam, and the other is your contribution to digitizing books.Theoretically, you can type most anything you want for the word that you can't read. However thats now how they hope you would use it.
I think it's a great idea.
Come ON, people, is it really SO HARD to hit the refresh button! We get the opportunity to do something really great, something good for society, and all anyone ever does is complain that its hard. The WHOLE POINT of the second word is to digitize books that would otherwise remain only on paper, which is fallible, flammable, and prone to rot.Do something good for society, quit your B and digitize some books.
premium members pay for extras such as no ads.. this idea of an ad for a captcha kinda defeats that purpose.
If the current CAPTCHA functions, I don't see an issue with keeping it. I would rather have difficult to read CAPTCHAs than see advertisements.CAPTCHA: its Sarice
I've seen some do the advertisement capatchas on other services. I actually enjoy the ones that are graphics and not video/flash. Hehe.
No. Please. I would rather spend a moment trying to discern illegible text than looking at advertising. On occasion the captchas are actually kind of funny, and sometimes eerily apropos of the subject matter; at the moment mine says 'your Tortment' (your torment?). Please don't replace this unintended amusement with crassness.
Halleluja great idea! Thank freaking heavens!Today's captchas have been driving me batty because half were some kind of chinese symbols...
Can't say I'm all that fussy.
