The Four Races of Warcraft III

The Human Alliance

Conglomeration of Humans, Elves, and Dwarves.
Although the Alliance has all but fallen apart, the valiant citizens of Lordaeron have once again taken up arms against the enemies of humanity.
Hero Class Units: Paladin, Archmage, Mountain King, and Blood Mage.
Most versatile army with knights and wizards fighting side by side.
Convert peasants into a militia to quickly defend structures.
Employ additional peasants to construct and repair structures significantly faster.

The Orcish Horde

Collective of Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren.
Having stripped themselves of their demonic influences, the Orcish Horde will wield their ancestral shamanistic magics and powerful warriors to ensure that they're never used as pawns again.
Hero Class Units: Blademaster, Far Seer, Tauren Chieftain, and Shadow Hunter.
Brutally strong, the Orcish Horde harnessed their raw melee power and shamanistic magics to overwhelm their opponents.
Spike barricade reinforce Orc structures causing damage to all melee attackers.
Orc units can be upgraded to salvage gold and lumber when attacking enemy buildings.

The Undead Scourge

A horrifying Undead army consisting of thousands of walking corpses, disembodied spirits, damned mortal men, and insidious extra-dimensional entities. Swell your ranks with fallen allies and foes alike.
Employ necromancy and the frozen elemental magic of the cold north against enemies.
Hero Class Units: Death Knight, Dread Lord, Lich, Crypt Lord.
Overwhelm opponents with the shear size of your army of the walking dead.
Summon structures directly into being freeing up acolytes for other duties.
Expand your base by spreading Blight. Undead units regenerate health while positioned on Blight.

The Ancient Night Elves

Immortal elves that shun the use of arcane magics in favor of embracing nature.
Although the Night Elves are honorable and just, they have closed themselves off from the rest of the world distrusting the other 'lesser races' of the world.
Hero Class Units: Demon Hunter, Keeper of the Grove, Priestess of the Moon, and Warden.
Lack the raw strength of the other races, but compensate with stealth, mobility, ranged firepower, and natural magic.
Most Night Elf structures are actually sentient trees capable of movement and attacking melee units.
Many Night Elf units when idle can shadowmeld enabling them to turn invisible.

The Other Denizens of Azeroth

The World of Azeroth

Warcraft III heavily inspired the creation of World of Warcraft. From the locations and environments to the units and structures, you can jump into any zone in the game and see parts of Warcraft III. Reforged iterates on those assets and even pulls on World of Warcraft to reimagine Azeroth with modern modeling and rendering to really bring Azeroth to life like never before.

Campaign and Cinematics of Warcraft III

Lordaeron Internment Camps - After receiving a ominous vision in a dream from 'The Prophet', Thrall must liberate the orc people from the internment camps and make his way westward across the ocean to the continent of Kalimdor where the Horde can meet its new destiny.

Prologue - Thrall's Vision

Stratholme - Prince Arthas, a paladin of the Silver Hand, and Jaina Proudmoore, an apprentice Archmage of Dalaran, are sent to investigate a mysterious plague that is spreading across the northern parts of Lordaeron. To their horror, this plague turns the citizens of Lordaeron into mindless undead led by the Necromancer, Ket'Thuzad, and the Dreadlord, Mal'Ganis. The heroes are forced to choose between killing innocents as a desperate attempt to contain the plague or allowing the plague to spread further.

Northrend - The Frozen Coast - Seeking vengeance on Mal'Ganis for Lordaeron, Arthas travels to Northrend, the source of the Undead Scourge. With the help of his dwarven friend, Muradin Bronzebeard, he hopes to find a powerful new weapon that will help him turn the tide against the undead and defeat Mal'Ganis once and for all.

Lordaeron - Though Arthas defeated Mal'Ganis, he sacrificed his soul to the rune blade Frostmourne to do so causing him to ally with the Undead as a Death Knight. As a new leader of the Scourge, he continues their crusade to destroy the remnants of the Alliance and herald the return of the Burning Legion.
Quel'Thalas - In order to open a portal for the Burning Legion, Arthas must revive his former rival Kel'Thuzad. To do so he requires an immense amount of power, so he seeks the magical font, the Sunwell, found in the home of the elven civilization of Quel'Thalas.
Dalaran - With Kel'Thuzad resurrected, they now seek the Book of Medivh an ancient tome with the spell to open a portal for the Burning Legion.

Orcish Campaign - The Invasion of Kalimdor

The Barrens - The orcs have landed on the foreign and hostile lands of Kalimdor seeking a home and a promised destiny. They travel inland to find their comrades and meet Cairne Bloodhoof, a Tauren Chieftain. After saving the nomadic Tauren from marauders, Cairne suggests that Thrall head to Stonetalon Peak in search of a mysterious oracle who might be able to help .
Ashenvale - While Thrall heads to Stonetalon Peak in search of this oracle, he instructs Grom Hellscream and the remaining orcs to build a settlement in the lush northern forests. While attempting to construct a new home, Night Elf forces attack invading Orcs for desecrating their sacred forest. In an attempt to repel the Night Elf warriors, Grom must choose whether or not to accept help from a demonic force.
Stonetalon Peak - At the summit of Stonetalon, Thrall encounters Jaina Proudmoore and her Alliance survivors. Before combat can engage, the oracle reveals himself as 'The Prophet' urging both sides to ally together if they hope to defeat the coming evil and save the Orcs now under the influence of the Burning Legion.

Finale - The Death of Hellscream

Ashenvale - Initially appalled by the invading Orcs and Humans, Tyrande attempts to protect her sacred forest. A darkness felt throughout Kalimdor reveals itself as the Burning Legion vowing not to be defeated by the Night Elves this time.

Moonglade - After learning the threat is larger than Tyrande could have ever imagined, she goes in search of allies attempting to awaken the slumbering Druids, including her love Malfurion Stormrage and his twin brother Illidan Stormrage who was imprisoned for his magical crimes 10,000 years ago.

Mount Hyjal - Despite her distrust of the Orcs and Humans, Tyrande allies with the outsiders in an attempt to prevent the demon lord Archimonde from scaling Mount Hyjal and destroying Nordrassil, the world tree.

Sentinels Campaign - Terror of the Tides

Azshara - Maiev Shadowsong, a Warden of the Night Elves, pursues the exiled Illidan Stormrage to imprison him once again. Illidan had been tasked by the demon lord Kil'jaeden to destroy the Lich King as he posed a threat to Azeroth and was unable to be controlled any longer by the Burning Legion. Aided by his Naga allies, Illidan goes in search of a magical artifact that can be used to stop the Lich King.
The Broken Isles & The Tomb of Sargeras - Illidan travels to the Broken Isles to find the Tomb of Sargeras and the Eye of Sargeras, a magical artifact that could help him destroy the Lich King. Maiev continues to pursue Illidan going so far as to ask for reinforcements from Tyrande Whisperwind and Malfurion Stormrage.
Ruins of Dalaran - Illidan returns to Dalaran to channel the Eye of Sargeras to tear apart Northrend the seat of the Lich King's power. Maiev, Tyrande, and Malfurion continue to pursue Illidan and ally with Kael'thas Sunstrider to subvert Illidan's scheme that could devastate Azeroth in addition to Northrend.

Alliance Campaign - Curse of the Blood Elves

Ruins of Dalaran - Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider grieves for the loss of Quel'thalas against the Scourge. He seeks vengeance against them, and rallies his troops to Dalaran. Lord Garithos, racist leader of the Alliance forces, despises all non-humans even going so far as to withhold aid from the Blood Elf forces resulting in the Blood Elves accepting the aid of the Naga. Lady Vashj, the Naga leader, explains that with the loss of the Sunwell, the Blood Elves are experiencing withdrawals from their addiction on magic. She pursuades Kael to travel to Outland and ally with Illidan who can help them find a cure for their addiction.
Outland - The Blood Elves attempt to rescue Illidan from the pursuit of Maiev Shadowsong.
The Black Citadel or The Black Temple - Illidan seeks to wrest control of Outland from the demonic Pit Lord Magtheridon.

Scourge Campaign - Legacy of the Damned

Lordaeron - Arthas seeks to wipe out the last vestiges of humanity from his homeland and to wrest control of the Scourge from the three remaining dreadlords. Before he's able to complete his mission, he's called back to Northrend be the Lich King with a grave warning about danger.
The Undercity - With the retreat of Arthas, Sylvanas Windrunner, an undead banshee ranger regains her free will. By allying with the dread lord Varimathras, Sylvanas defeats the remaining dreadlords and establishes herself as the leader of the liberated Scourge of Lordaeron establishing the new Forsaken capital of The Undercity.
Azjol-Nerub - Illidan's forces are trying to reach Icecrown and destroy the Lich King for good. Arthas must cut through the Nerubian cities of Azjol-Nerub to have any chance of reaching The Frozen Throne before Illidan.
Icecrown Glacier & The Frozen Throne - Arthas must attempt to defend The Frozen Throne from Illidan.

Finale - The AscensionArthas vs. Illidan

Durotar & Orgrimmar - Rexxar allies with Thrall as he attempts to establish a home in the hostile lands of Kalimdor.

Echo Isles - Rexxar comes to the aid of the Darkspear Trolls including their leader Vol'jin as they come under attack by a fleet of humans. Hostilities with humans erupt confusing Thrall who still stands by a pact he made with Jaina Proudmoore.

Theramore - The Kul Tirans led by Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore have come to the aid of Theramore, but in doing so have ignited old hatreds between Humans and Orcs. Thrall will attempt to defend his new home while respecting the peaceful pact he made with Jaina Proudmoore. Jaina will have to decide whether her allegiances are with her fanatical father or with the Orcs that have shown her a different way during their fight against the Burning Legion.

The Loading screen may transition to a black screen if other players are taking longer to load.
Ancients ordered to Root do not have a placement sprite.
Structures or units that go through an upgrade or transformation do not abide by the rules of ally color mode.

Campaign

Logging in and then out may cause issues with Campaign save data location (game may think you are a new player and start a new save location).

We recommend you restart the game after a lost connection.

Non-latin characters may overlap at times in campaign dialogue.
Custom

Custom Maps greater than 256mb will break game lobbies.

Options

An error will occur when trying to save options in Offline Mode.

Mac

The game does not transition gracefully when changing resolution while in Fullscreen.
Command + Tab will help achieve the proper aesthetic and correct a related issue with drag select.
Custom Keybinds don’t work with non-US keyboards.
You are unable to invite friends to play a custom game when playing cross platform.
Menu UI experiences low performance at 1440p and above.

World Editor

JassHelper doesn’t close when the World Editor is closed.
A few Reforged neutral units are invisible.
A few doodads are using placeholder cubes.

I'm playing beta for couple of weeks now and game still lacks a lot of performance optimizations and there are some bugs which often just ruin the game-play. Overall, super happy and pumped still, love the improved graphics and all. But with the current state of the game, I don't really know how they are even remotely thinking to be done by 28th of January. There is still a lot of stuff to do.
