Выброс адреналина should be used as soon as you get a Истинный азимут buff or in pair with Клинки Ужаса. Do not use it right in the opener, remember you have 3 seconds of Выброс адреналина with Главное – это контроль on every stun.

Клинки Ужаса is not a mandatory pick but it's good because Устранение does important damage in Shadowlands. You should use it when you're not in danger because it does damage to you and is much better if you have a Истинный азимут buff.

Маленькие хитрости should simply be used every time you need a burst of damage. You can use it on your healer if your dps friend is out of line or dead. It's off of GCD so you can delay it until you are sure to do damage.

Череда убийств is not great because it teleports you back at the end but it breaks roots. Use it to follow your target when you're stuck in a root or if you're out of energy because your bar will fill up during the spree.

Кража доспехов is a PvP talent rarely taken in rated PvP because it's on GCD. You can take it in place of tricks or bomb when you're doing solo PvP. Use it before Удар по почкам if possible, while your target is in a Парализующий удар for example. It doesn't do damage so it will not break it.

is now a cooldown part of your burst rotation. Use it before Удар по почкам if you're already hitting that target. If your are planning a swap on another, you can't risk using it before Удар по почкам as the enemy could react with a defensive cooldown before you stun them.

Defensive Cooldowns

Плащ теней should be used before dropping too low. If you see the enemy casters are using major offensives, that your healer is controlled and you're unable to line of sight them, it's time. Using cloak on 10% will result in your healer also having to commit cooldowns.

Ускользание is similar to cloak, use it when you're unable to kite melees who used offensive cooldowns or if you're already too low.

Исчезновение is your last line of defense because it's also a utility cooldown to land Ошеломление. You can use it if you drop extremely low or to prevent a stun on you if an enemy Rogue just used Ослепление on your healer for example.

Уловка is only useful if you picked Неуловимость. Use it to reduce inevitable damage. It's even better to use it in prevention to an incoming stun.

Алый фиал should be used almost on cooldown to relieve your healer or similar to Уловка if you're about to get stunned.

Обман смерти should be picked against heavy melee cleaves or classes with one-shot potential where Уловка isn't enough.

Utility Cooldowns

Удар по почкам is used to keep your target locked down during a burst. It can also be used to control another enemy, in this case, the target will approximately leave combat at the end of the stun if nobody hits them. You could try to Ошеломление if you have a Исчезновение and if they are unable to use a spell on anyone nearby, meaning they are Удар по почкам alone behind a pillar for instance.

Парализующий удар is unique to Outlaw, but it shares the same diminishing return with Ошеломление. Look at the Tips and Tricks at the bottom of this page to learn how to use it.

Отвлечение can be used at the beginning of a match to slow down enemies running towards your teammates so you can get a Ошеломление before they enter combat. Another usage is to stop healers sitting down for drinks, it will not put them in combat but it will stop their drink until they actively consume a new one.

Ослепление is your major control ability to use on the enemy healer. Look at the common mistakes at the bottom of this page to learn how to use it.

Абордажный крюк should usually be used directly at the beginning of a match to get a quick Ошеломление on a target and try to setup something from there. Later in the match, you can use it to swap between targets or defensively to run away.

Дымовая шашка is an unusual spell which prevent an enemy from healing their friends or damaging your teammates as long as one and only one of the two players is inside the bomb. The main use case is on someone far away from their friends to prevent healing on them or controls on you. In this case, you usually want to Удар по почкам them beforehand to avoid them escaping. You can also use bomb occasionaly on your teammates to prevent controls on them or just to stop an important cast.

Спринт can be used anytime you need to move faster like at the beginning of a match or to kite enemies around. Маневренность talent can be picked to improve Sprint if you're struggling against a frost mage in 2v2.

Отравляющий укол can be used to slow your enemies as often as possible. There's no specific strategy with it.

Метка смерти is optional but fills your combo points for an immediate Удар по почкам at the beginning of a match or a Удар по почкам into during bursts.

Effective Strategies for Outlaw Rogues in PvPWhich Buff to Get From Бросок костей?

Беспощадная точность is the most brutal buff you can get - you know it's time to burst.

Бортовой залп is the second best. It gives a lot of extra combo points and it increases the damage of Коварный удар and Выстрел из пистоли the latter of which is already buffed by the Стрельба от бедра talent choice, and double damage from Замечательная возможность procs.

Истинный азимут is the third most interesting buff as it adds to the cooldown reduction of Не знающие устали клинки, making it 12 seconds per finisher.

Ослеплениеing a target that is still on Ошеломление diminishing return. If there is more than 8 seconds on Ошеломление's diminishing return, you won't be able to get a full Ошеломление.

Ослеплениеing a target when Исчезновение is on cooldown. Then again you won't be able to Ошеломление at all. Avoid doing this except if your teammate can apply a crowd control of their own.

Ослеплениеing a target that has a pet up. When a Priest uses their Исчадие Тьмы or a Shaman uses their Элементаль земли, it will keep them in combat during the Ослепление, making it impossible to Ошеломление.

Not using Бросок костей before stunning. You cannot afford to waste a global by pressing it during your Удар по почкам - make sure to use it beforehand.

Holding onto your cooldowns. As you have cooldown reduction built in the spec, you shouldn't be afraid to burn Выброс адреналина quickly into the match and even go for Исчезновение plays in between regular Ослепление > Исчезновение > Ошеломление combos.

Waiting for the last second of Ослепление to use Исчезновение. The enemy team will try to crowd control you to prevent a Ошеломление out of Ослепление. Classes with instant crowd controls or disarms such as Monks, Warriors, or Demon Hunters can stop you easily. You want to take distance from them as soon as possible and use your Исчезновение 3 or 4 seconds before Ослепление ends to secure a Ошеломление.
