There aren't many mounts: While there are some exotic mounts to be found in Classic WoW, odds are you are going to simply purchase one of your Race's mounts and use that mount for the entire game.

Gold actually matters: In BFA and the earlier expansions, gold is a fast moving currency that comes and goes with ease; in Classic WoW gold is often earned through manual labor with a low rate of around 30 gold per hour. At that rate, you might be looking at around 30 hours of farming to reach your goal of 900 gold.

Each Faction's mounts are gated by reputation: In Classic World of Warcraft you won't be able to learn how to ride another race's mounts unless you have reached exalted reputation. While you can turn in cloth to help you reach exalted with another race, most people just purchase their own race's mounts first.

Азшара: Similar to Felwood, here you'll find another group of Satyrs known as the Legashi (Призыватель огня из племени Легаши, Сатир из племени Легаши, Разбойник из племени Легаши). These enemies drop the same items as their Jadefire brethren.

Instance Farming

Simply running dungeons: being consistent in your play can never be over-stated, if you play the game a lot (or in this case run dungeons a lot) you will accumulate gold and eventually be able to make your big purchase.

Solo Play: there are certain dungeons throughout the game that you'll be able to solo at max level and turn a profit from selling the loot, a good example of this is Мародон. Once you complete Скипетр Келебраса (a dungeon quest inside Мародон) you will obtain Скипетр Келебраса which will allow you to teleport to a point in the dungeon where you can kill a few of the bosses. The goal with this is to get drops like Топор Крокодильего укуса and Скипетр принцессы Терадрас that sell for several gold each.

Group Play: some dungeons have enough loot to go around, a good example of this is Стратхольм: On the Undead side of the instance you'll find Стратхольм - ящик с припасами which contains several grey items that you can vendor for some excellent gold; on the Living side of the instance you'll have a chance at looting Сфера Праведности which are always worth a good amount on the auction house.

Closing Thoughts

Mounts aren't collectibles: acquiring your epic mount is less of a cosmetic experience and more of a necessary benchmark of your Classic experience. More than likely you'll be limited to purchasing your own Race's mount and the most variety you'll find is a color change.

Play efficiently: one of the best things you can learn to do in Classic World of Warcraft is to play efficiently and bring that efficiency into every aspect of the game. If you play the game a lot and are conscious about how much gold you have and are making sure not to spend more than you earn, you'll be able to purchase your epic mount in short order.

Some people might notice the mounts are "Binds when Used", which technically means they could be traded to other players. However, each race has their own riding skill for their mounts, and that is what is gated behind reputation requirements. It is mentioned in the guide, but I kinda glossed over that part and got a bit excited when I saw the mounts were BoU. Perhaps make that a bit clearer? Otherwise great guide!

Heya,

Thanks for the guide, any chance you have a list of other mobs to grind like the bats you mention in the raw gold farming section but for lower level ranges? I'm planning to straight grind mobs at some points while leveling and it would be nice to know the most lucrative locations.
