This is a small guide that I made, it helped me get a few extra digits in gold, so I thought you all would like to know this as well.If you thought this guide was helpful, make sure to upvote it so other people can see it!

This a highly populated area.

I am on a PvP server, so as from a PvP perspective, people are quite aggressive.

The area that has these little guys are pretty painfully guarded by fel lava, if you cannot properly heal yourselves, I would suggest getting a few things.

People use Serverhop in this area, so for this guide, Serverhop (tested by me) is a cut into profit, because you're batting a thousand on getting a server where someone isn't there.

Just to add this here, I tested all of this stuff on my active miner, he is a prot warrior ilvl 900. You want the comfort to be able to leisurely kill these guys without having to constantly use cooldowns, or worrying about being steamrolled, but you don't want to be able to roll through them and then be stuck for 2-3 minutes at a pop without anything to do.

WoWhead's information on the gems is not accurate.

These are numbers from MY SERVER (EmeraldDream). You may gain more, you may gain less. Worst case scenario, there isn't even a good market for this stuff.

Felfang Basilisk.here is a little snippit of the map I used for the farming.If you do not have the ability to comfortably heal yourself, I would highly recommend:

Grabbing Fighter Chow. (Obtained from cooking or the AH)
From the Vindicaar, equip your Fel Heart of Argus. (Obtained after you complete the quest "Long Overdue")

If you want to speed up your mining process, I would also highly reccomend:
Darkmoon Firewater (Obtained by the AH or during the Darkmoon festival)
Legion Mining Enchant for your gloves. (Obtained from Enchanters and probably the best one, I paid for mine!)
The Krokul Mining Pick. This is obtained by hitting HONORED with the Agrussian Reach. It is purchaseable on the Vindicaar from Toraan the Revered.

I farmed these guys for about 3 hours, (I kept score at home for the actual start and stop of 3, 1 hour segments, and then I used that data to summarize what I obtained.

On average I gained:
from trash loot.
2,300-2,500 Empyrium from mining the basilisks. On average, the ore sells between and . Doing the basic math, on a bad day I earned . On a GREAT day I earned .
(I have someone who buys the ores from me on hand because I can keep him supplied and he can keep me happy. However, he goes off the cheapest price in the AH.)Primal Sargerite.If you are a Jewelcrafter, you can make much more money in selling the raw gems that you get from prospecting all of this.
