Summoning 101 (a.k.a. Minion Guide)

Kangi
Welcome to the "summoning guide".
This is an old, old thread that long predates the Wowhead guide system. Up until Battle for Azeroth, in which I stopped playing modern WoW, I kept it half-heartedly up-to-date out of love, despite never having any intentions of making it into a proper guide.
Table of Contents:
Imp
Voidwalker
Succubus
Felhunter
Felguard
Infernal
(temporary guardian)
Doomguard
(temporary guardian)
Felsteed/Dreadsteed
(mounts)
Recent patch changes to minions
Infernal
(permanent pet)
Doomguard
(permanent pet)
MINIONS
The Imp
A_IMP_ORDER
How to obtain:
The imp will be right at your side once you start your Warlock.
Abilities:
Firebolt
, the imp's source of damage.
Learned upon acquiring the imp. Automatic.
Cauterize Master
, an ability that deals minor damage to the Warlock and then heals him over time.
Learned at level 31. Manually triggered.
Flee
, an escape mechanism that causes your imp to flee to the Warlock, breaking free of stuns and roots.
Learned at level 33. Manually triggered.
Singe Magic
, an ability that dispels a magic-effect debuff off of you or an ally. Automatically casts on the Warlock if he is CCed by a magical effect.
Learned at level 68. Automatic.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Glyphs
Grimoire of the Fel Imp
transforms the imp into
Summon Fel Imp
. The fel imp casts
Felbolt
as opposed to the standard Firebolt; the difference between the two, as of Legion, is purely cosmetic.
Summary:
The imp is the only long-range minion, giving it its own set of perks and downfalls. He's the Destruction minion of choice, and his
Singe Magic
and
Cauterize Master
spells give him handy utility.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding: Don't be sparing with
Cauterize Master
. It can be a useful healing effect that takes stress off of the healers when the raid is taking damage.
While
Avoidance
will generally keep your pet from dying to most boss mechanics,
Flee
can still be useful when you need your imp to get to where you are and fast.
In PvP:
Feel like the imp is too useless in PvP? Think again.
Singe Magic
can be exceptionally useful against magic-debuffing classes, such as enemy Warlocks.
Is your imp being focused down?
Flee
can be used to get him out of sticky situations, or just plain confuse your enemies. ("Imps can fly?!")

The Voidwalker
SummonVoidWalker
How to obtain:
Summon Voidwalker
is learned at level 8.
Abilities:
Consuming Shadows
, the voidwalker's main source of damage.
Learned upon acquiring the voidwalker. Automatic.
Threatening Presence
a permanent buff to the voidwalker that causes its threat generation to increase.
Learned upon acquiring the voidwalker. Automatic.
Suffering
, a single-target taunt that automatically casts if the target isn't attacking the voidwalker, and is cast on any enemy that is attacking the Warlock.
Learned at level 15. Automatic.
, a temporary buff to the voidwalker that reduces all physical damage taken and deals damage to attackers. Has charges that cause the shield to decrease in effectiveness each time the voidwalker is hit.
Learned at level 28. Automatic.
Shadow Bulwark
, a temporary maximum health boost that autocasts when the voidwalker is running low on health.
Learned at level 55. Automatic.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Void Reflexes
, a passive ability that gives the voidwalker a defensive boost.
Glyphs
Grimoire of the Voidlord
will transform your voidwalker to
Summon Voidlord
. This will grant it
Void Shield
, which replaces the standard Shadow Shield. As of Legion, this is purely a cosmetic difference.
Summary:
The voidwalker is a tankiness-focused minion that can keep even strong elite enemies off of you in soloing, or help you out in other dangerous situations. He's no match for a real tank though, so try not to pull him out in a raid. Those days are long gone. Sartharion still has nightmares about them.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding:
Toggle off
Threatening Presence
and
Suffering
. You do not want your voidwalker to tank in a raiding environment, unless it's necessary.
In PvP: Coming soon™.
In soloing:
In cases where the voidwalker is taking massive amounts of damage (20%+ of health) at a time, you may want to manually cast
Shadow Bulwark
in order to avoid the voidwalker not getting the chance to cast it himself.

The Succubus
A_SUCCUBUS_DISMISS
How to obtain:
Summon Succubus
is learned at level 28.
Abilities:
Lash of Pain
, the succubus' source of damage.
Learned upon acquiring the succubus. Automatic.
Seduction
, a CC ability that only works on humans and other players. Shares diminishing returns with Fear. Gender of the target strangely does not matter.
Learned at level 26. Automatic.
Lesser Invisibility
, an ability the succubus can only use out of combat that makes her invisible to all enemies.
Learned at level 32. Automatic.
Whiplash
, an AoE damaging knockback.
Learned at level 56. Automatic.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Glyphs
Grimoire of the Shivarra
will transform your succubus to
Summon Shivarra
. This will grant her
Bladedance
, which replaces Lash of Pain;
Fellash
, which replaces Whiplash; and
Mesmerize
, which replaces Seduction. These spells, as of Legion, are only cosmetic differences.
Grimoire of the Shadow Succubus
will give your succubus a shadowy makeover.
Orb of the Fel Temptress
will give your succubus a fel makeover.
Summary:
The succubus is basically known as "the CC minion". Her potent humanoid CC gives her exceptional usefulness in PvP and soloing/raiding situations where CC against humanoids is needed.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding: Use Fear in conjunction with
Seduction
on different targets to be a master of CC. Heck, you can throw Banish in there too if applicable! ...Just don't expect to do much dps when you're trying to juggle that many CCs.
Keep in mind that
Whiplash
can also be used to interrupt spell casts if the mob is susceptible to it. It will not lock them out of casting, however, so whip out your felhunter if that's what you need.
In PvP:
Keep in mind that
Whiplash
can also be used to interrupt player spell casts. It will not lock them out of casting, however, so whip out your felhunter if that's what you need.
In soloing:
See above.

The Felhunter
SummonFelBeast
How to obtain:
Summon Felhunter
is learned at level 36.
Abilities:
Shadow Bite
, the felhunter's main source of damage. Effect increased for Affliction Warlocks in accordance to DoTs placed on the target.
Learned upon acquiring the felhunter. Automatic.
Devour Magic
, an ability that purges a beneficial magic effect from the enemy, replenishing the felhunter if successful.
Learned upon acquiring the felhunter. Manually triggered.
Spell Lock
, an ability that silences and/or interrupts an enemy's spellcast.
Learned upon acquiring the felhunter. Manually triggered.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Glyphs
Charred Glyph
will transform your felhunter to
Summon Observer
. This will grant it
Tongue Lash
, which replaces Shadow Bite, and
Optical Blast
, which replaces Spell Lock. These spells, as of Legion, are simply cosmetic differences.
Summary:
The felhunter is used as an anti-spell caster minion, as well as the damage-dealing minion of choice for Affliction Warlocks. They're exceptional against casters in PvP and can be used in a pinch to interrupt an important target in other situations.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding: Coming soon™.
In PvP:
Spell Lock
wisely! Interrupting a Chaos Bolt, for example, is a lot more valuable than using that 24-second cooldown on just anything.
In soloing: Coming soon™.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Kangi##DELIM##

The Felguard
A_DOOMGUARD_ORDER
How to obtain:
Summon Felguard
is learned by Demonology Warlocks at level 40.
Abilities:
Legion Strike
, a damaging ability that also hits other nearby enemies next to the target and applies a Mortal Strike-type debuff to the target.
Learned upon acquiring the felguard. Automatic.
Pursuit
, an ability that charges and deals damage to an enemy and increases the felguard's movement speed.
Learned upon acquiring the felguard. Automatic.
Axe Toss
, a ranged ability that stuns a target.
Learned upon acquiring the felguard. Manually triggered.
Felstorm
. It's basically
Bladestorm
, felguard-style. Without the "immune to CC" part, however.
Learned at level 45. Manually triggered.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Void Reflexes
, a passive ability that grants the felguard increased defensive capabilities.
Glyphs
Grimoire of the Wrathguard
will transform your felguard to
Summon Wrathguard
. This grants him
Mortal Cleave
which replaces Legion Strike, and
Wrathstorm
which replaces Felstorm. As of Legion, these spells are only cosmetically different.
Glyph of Felguard
is also available. Transmog your felguard! Sorta.
Summary:
The felguard is considered to be the highest-damage standard minion; however, it can only be used by those with the Demonology specialization.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding: Coming soon™.
In PvP: Coming soon™.
In soloing: Coming soon™.

InfernalAggro
How to obtain:
Summon Infernal
is learned at level 58.
Abilities:
Passive immolation aura.
Want a permanent infernal?
You're in luck! See
this section
.
Summary:
As a guardian, the infernal will be a nice boost to your damage, particularly in AoE fights. He isn't as good as the doomguard when it comes to single-target damage, however.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Kangi##DELIM##
Post by

The Doomguard
DoomGuardAggro
How to obtain:
Summon Doomguard
is learned at level 50.
Abilities:
Doom Bolt
, the doomguard's primary source of damage. Deals 20% more damage against enemies at or below 20% of their maximum health.
Automatically known upon summoning.
Want a permanent doomguard?

"This is my spec. Which pet do I use?"
Come Legion, each specialization once again has an optimal minion tied to it. While you're free to use minions for various other reasons (voidwalker to tank an elite, felhunter to interrupt a Mage), listed below are the optimal minions for each specialization in regards to pure damage.
Note that these assume you have not selected
Grimoire of Supremacy
as a talent.
Affliction: Felhunter/Observer
Demonology: Felguard/Wrathguard
Destruction: Imp/Fel Imp
Battle for Azeroth re-rendered this section pointless. Minions (supposedly) pull the same DPS, outside of the Felguard for Demonology.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Kangi##DELIM##

MOUNTS
Although not true minions, the Felsteed and Dreadsteed are loyal companions that are rideable.
The Felsteed
This flaming horse, along with the necessary riding skill, is granted to you upon reaching level 20.
The Dreadsteed
Not-so-long ago, the Dreadsteed was only available through a long, tiring, dungeon-running, world-trekking
quest chain
. Now it is available through simply reaching level 40. The quest chain is no longer able to be done, and those who did it received a nice
achievement
for their troubles.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Kangi##DELIM##

Non-exhaustive list of patch changes specific to minions:
(Note: changes to various minion-related talents or effects may not be listed)
Imp: Blood Pact returns, 5% stamina buff for you and your imp. Cauterize Master gone. Firebolt no longer deals extra damage to immolated targets.
Voidwalker: Shadow Shield now passive, Void Reflexes removed.
Succubus: Whiplash now a slow.
Felhunter: Shadow Bite damage no longer scales with DoTs on target.
Doomguard and Infernal permanent pets: removed.
Imp
Damage increased by 20%.
Voidwalker
Damage increased by 20%.
Succubus
Damage increased by 20%.
Felhunter
Damage increased by 20%.
Felguard
Damage increased by 20%.
Notes: Damage buffs to keep our fel friends up to speed.
Felhunter
Devour Magic
has been re-added because who thought the felhunter having only two abilities was a good idea?
Doomguard
Doom Bolt
damage increased by 13%.
Notes: Seriously, who?
General
Several demons have received new models and voicelines.
Grimoire of Supremacy
(Grimoire of Supremacy, tooltip shows as Demonic Servitude on live) functionality changed; now functions as Demonic Servitude once did. The alternative minions (Fel Imp, Voidlord, etc.) have been turned into glyphs. While they retain their unique abilities, they will function identically to their counterparts.
Grimoire of Sacrifice
no longer supplies a demon spell to the Warlock through
Command Demon
.
Demonology got all sorts of fun demons to play with, but they will not be added to this guide.
More stuff probably??
Imp
Firebolt
now deals increased damage to targets afflicted by its master's Immolate.
Cauterize Master
now learned at level 31 (down from 56).
Singe Magic
cooldown reduced to 10 seconds.
Voidwalker
Void Reflexes
added as a passive.
Torment changed into Consuming Shadows. Now drains health from enemies within an area of effect.
Shadow Bulwark
now has an energy cost.
Felhunter
Now learned at level 35 (up from 29).
Shadow Bite
now deals increased damage to targets afflicted by its master's Affliction spells.
Devour Magic
(Devour Magic; purged a beneficial magic effect from the target to heal the felhunter) removed.
Spell Lock
is now learned at level 35 (down from 50).
Felguard
Now learned (by Demonology Warlocks) at level 40 (down from 42).
Void Reflexes
added as a passive effect.
Notes: There's a whole bunch of undocumented stuff that's too time-consuming to go over. And hey, felhunter got a new model!
Imp
Has received a new model!
Felguard
Has received a new model!
Voidlord
Has received a new model!
Wrathguard
Has received a new model!
Doomguard
Now appears smaller to other players.
Notes: Shiny new appearances for some minions. Now, where's a new model for that butt-ugly felhunter?
(Sorry, felhunter.)
Imp/Fel Imp
Singe Magic
and its fel imp equivalent have had their cooldown increased to 30 seconds.
Voidwalker/Voidlord
(Disarm) has been removed.
Succubus/Shivarra
Seduction
and its shivarra equvialent now have a 30 second cooldown.
Felhunter/Observer
Spell Lock
and its observer equivalent no longer silence the target.
Terrorguard
No longer casts an AoE fear effect upon death.
Notes: Warlord of Draenor! Not many changes here, though it introduced Demonic Servitude. Most of these changes were done for the sake of PvP.
Imp
The imp pet ability
(Blood Pact) has been removed.
Notes: This would later become a passive ability for warlocks.
Imp
The ability Phase Shift (made the imp invulnerable to attacks and abilities while out of combat) was removed.
Voidwalker
The ability Consume Shadows (replenish health and mana over time and temporarily increasing your stealth detection) was removed.
The ability Sacrifice (sacrificed a portion of the voidwalker's health to give you an absorption shield for thirty seconds) was removed.
Gained the ability
Threatening Presence
.
Felhunter
The ability Fel Intelligence (gave increased maximum mana and mana regeneration) was removed as part of the consolidation of raid buffs.
Felguard
Gained the ability
Threatening Presence
.
Notes: Mists of Pandaria! Not quite as many changes as Cataclysm... at least, not to minions. Warlocks themselves got overhauled for the second expansion in a row. Regardless, some minion abilities got removed. Sacrifice was actually reworked into a talent that functioned regardless of what minion was being used. Grimoire of Supremacy was also added.
Voidwalker
The voidwalker ability
Suffering
now works like the hunter pet talent
.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that caused the
Doomguard
and
Infernal
to benefit dramatically more than intended from
Demonology Mastery
.
Notes: Took a little "pew" from Demonology's "pew pew".
General
The Aggressive pet stance has been removed and replaced with the Assist stance. This stance will cause the player's pet to attack the player's target. The pet will not change targets unless the master attacks a new target for a few seconds.
The Defensive pet stance will now only cause the player's pet to attack enemies which attack the pet or the master.
Notes: Prior to this, the Defensive stance functioned more like the current Assist stance, and the Aggressive stance made pets attack
anything
in sight. This didn't end well in neutral towns on PvP servers.
Succubus
Lash of Pain
's damage now scales with level, reducing the damage done at lower levels such that it will deal 50% damage at level 20, and 100% damage at level 80 and above.
Felhunter
Shadow Bite
's damage and effect has been doubled.
Doomguard
Doom Bolt
's damage has been increased by 50%. The doomguard is intended to be the best guardian for single-target damage, and the onfernal the best when there are multiple targets.
Notes: Actually... the succubus in general was pretty crazy. Her damage was insane at lower levels! Meanwhile, before the doomguard change, the infernal was just the go-to guardian for all situations. It was to be expected, considering how much havoc they wrought back when they were an enslaved demon, rather than a guardian.
Succubus
Seduction
now has a PvP duration of 8 seconds.
Felhunter
Devour Magic
cooldown has been increased to 20 seconds, up from 8. Devour is no longer able to be auto-cast.
Felguard
Felstorm
damage has been reduced by 20%.
Notes: Well, Seduction
was
pretty crazy in PvP. That Devour auto-cast change would later be reverted, and the cooldown changed once more.
Oi, where to begin?
General
All minions and guardians (excluding the felguard) are now trainable.
Old - Minions (excluding imp and felguard) would require a quest chain to be completed to obtain.
Avoidance
increased to 90% AoE damage reduction.
Old - 80%.
Imp
(Blood Pact, raid-wide aura buff) now increases stamina.
Old - increased health.
New spell -
Flee
.
Old - Fire Shield (fire resistance buff castable on raid members; buffed targets would cause fire damage to attackers).
New spell -
Singe Magic
.
Old - Phase Shift (imp would become unattackable and immune to friendly casts until attacking; could only be used out of combat).
Voidwalker
Consuming Shadows
now has a lower cooldown and deals damage.
Consume Shadows
now also regenrates mana.
Suffering
now has a lower cooldown and taunts a single target.
Old - AoE spell on a two minute cooldown that generated threat and reduced chance to hit at later levels.
Succubus
Lash of Pain
no longer has a cooldown and is usable at range.
Old - 12 second cooldown and only usable at melee range.
New spell -
Whiplash
.
Old - Soothing Kiss (threat reduction for Succubus and affecting time between attacks at later levels).
Felhunter
Devour Magic
no longer dispels harmful effects on friendly targets; still purges enemies.
(Fel Intelligence, raid-wide aura buff) now grants maximum mana and mp5, rather than intellect and spirit.
Felguard
New spell -
Legion Strike
.
Old - Cleave (self-explanatory)
New spell -
Pursuit
.
Old - Intercept (basically Pursuit but with a stun instead of a movement speed increase)
New spell -
Axe Toss
.
Old - Anguish (threat generation spell)
New spell -
Felstorm
.
Old - Demonic Frenzy (increased attack power for every successful strike for ten seconds, stacking up to ten times)
Doomguard
Now a guardian with a 45 second duration and 10 minute cooldown, rather than a minion.
Old abilities removed. Now only casts
Doom Bolt
.
Infernal
Now a guardian with a 45 second duration and 10 minute cooldown, rather than a minion.
Notes: Cataclysm brought a
lot
of changes. I mean... just look at all of those!
Many of the tail sweeps with knockback effects will no longer hit players' pets.
Pet Resilience: All player pets now get 100% of their master’s resilience.
Avoidance
(passive): Now reduces the damage your pet takes from area-of-effect damage by 90%, but no longer applies to area-of-effect damage caused by other players.
Summon Infernal
: The cooldown on this summoning spell has been reduced from 20 minutes to 10 minutes. Cannot be used in Arenas.
Doomguard
/
Infernal
: These pets now innately have
Avoidance
like all other warlock pets.
Shadow Bite
(Felhunter): This pet ability now provides 15% increased damage for each of the warlock’s damage-over-time effects on the target.
Suffering
(Voidwalker): Ranks 5-8 had the incorrect taunt radius of 5 yards and have all been adjusted to a 10-yard radius.
Summon Imp
: This ability is now available from the trainer for level 1 warlocks and no longer requires a quest to learn.
Notes: Those last two probably raise a few for newer players. You see, warlock minions used to have quests that you needed to complete in order to acquire them. This was eventually changed for all minions so that you could just learn their summoning spells from the trainer. And then trainers were no longer needed to learn them! Meanwhile, both player abilities and pet abilities used to have ranks to them; you'd learn higher ranks of the same spell from the trainer (in the form of purchasable items, for the minions). Nowadays, spells just scale with your level, rather than being at certain increments.
All pets now receive 40% of their master's resilience and 100% of their master's spell penetration. In addition, if a player is at their appropriate spell hit chance or hit chance maximum, their pet will be at the maximum for spell hit chance, hit chance, and expertise. If they are below the maximum, their pet will be proportionately below those maximums.
Dreadsteed
can now be learned at level 40.
Felsteed
can now be learned at level 20.
Notes: The change to the warlock mounts were part of a larger change to mounts in general. Previously, 60% speed mounts couldn't be used until level 40, and 100% speed mounts couldn't be used until level 60.
(Sacrifice) (Voidwalker) redesigned: Sacrifices a portion of the voidwalker's health, giving its master a shield that will absorb X damage for 30 seconds. While the shield holds, spell casting will not be interrupted by damage. 1-minute cooldown.
Notes: You know that talent, Sacrifical Pact? Well, that used to be a pet ability in the form of Sacrifice for the voidwalker. Prior to this patch, it just outright killed the voidwalker. Seems like a bad deal for him.
(Fire Shield) (Imp): You can now cast this ability on raid members, rather than party members.
Voidwalker: The health bonus on this pet has been reduced from 60% to 10%.
Notes: Fire Shield was a buff effect that caused damage upon being hit. The voidwalker received such a large nerf due to the fact that prior to this patch, he was being used to tank raid bosses. How's that for a tank pet?

GRIMOIRE OF SUPREMACY
Grimoire of Supremacy
is a level 90 talent that allows you to control the infernal and doomguard indefinitely.
The Infernal
InfernalAttack
How to obtain:
Select
Grimoire of Supremacy
as your talent at level 90, and you gain access to this demon as a permanent pet.
Abilities:
Passive immolation aura.
Burning Presence
, a passive ability that increases the infernal's defenses and threat generation.
Automatic.
Meteor Strike
, an AoE ability that stuns and deals damage in a small radius around the infernal.
Automatic.
Torch Magic
, a dispel. Can be used to remove a harmful magic effect from an ally, or to purge a beneficial magic effect from an enemy.
Automatic.
Seethe
, a taunt effect. Works similarly to the voidwalker's
Suffering
.
Automatic.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Summary:
The infernal is a great pet for solo content and AoE fights. Use him to decimate your foes, while keeping them away from you.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding:Turn off
Burning Presence
,
Seethe
, and
Torch Magic
from being automatic. You don't want your pet taking threat off of a tank, and you don't want to waste Torch Magic - it has a thirty second cooldown, after all.
In PvP:
Try to keep
Torch Magic
off of auto-cast. Once again, you want to use it sparingly.
In soloing:
Yep,
Torch Magic
again. Your infernal has a tendency to just use this immediately on an enemy, even if they don't have a beneficial magic effect on them. So keep it off of auto-cast and only use it when you need it.

The Doomguard
DoomGuardAttack
How to obtain:
Select
Grimoire of Supremacy
as your talent at level 90, and you gain access to this demon as a permanent pet.
Abilities:
Doom Bolt
, the doomguard's primary source of damage. Deals 20% extra damage when the target is at or below 20% health.
Automatic.
Debilitate
, a channeled root effect. Note that unlike some CC abilities, this will "aggro" the enemy and others nearby.
Automatic.
Shadow Lock
, a standard interrupt effect.
Manually triggered.
Avoidance
, a passive ability that all minions have to prevent them from dying easily to AoE effects.
Summary:
As a permanent pet, the doomguard is a very high source of single-target damage. He may pale to the infernal in solo content and AoE fights, but he's unrivaled during most PvE boss encounters.
Tips & Tricks:
In raiding:Turn off
Debilitate
from being automatically casted. Otherwise, your doomguard may randomly try to cast it. He's dumb like that.
In PvP:
Keep
Debilitate
off of auto-cast. It has a lengthy cooldown, and you'll want to use it sparingly.
In soloing:
Yep, you guessed it.
Debilitate
again. Keep it for when you need it and deactivate its auto-cast.

Seriously man, if you think that a 2k Shield every 45 seconds warrants using a Voidwalker in PvP then you are probably running around arenas at a 700 rating wondering WTF is happening. Using him over Succi or Felhunter is just retarded.
Death Coil has a 2 minute CD and only lasts 2.5 seconds anyway, Drain Mana is pointless in today's "bursty" PvP style, Shadow Fury lasts 2 seconds on a 20 second CD... In order to down a priest (or a priest's partner) you need to either chain CC the priest, or Spell Lock him (effectively a 6 second stun).
But hey, this isn't a PvP strategy thread... Try dueling a priest who knows what he is doing and see what happens.

10k+ shield when specced properly. If you find that useless, then you are being short-sighted.
Try dueling a priest who knows what he is doing and see what happens
I've dueled many a skilled Priest and have had the upper hand without using a Felhunter.
Overall, don't be ignorant to possibilities, Fin.

When getting pet you can ignore your race, any Warlock can get pet from any quest chain of thier aligment (that does make quite a difference when taking Succubus). You should note that Seduce shares dimishing returns
with Fear
(seems like a typo). Other than that great work.

You should note that Seduce shares dimishing returns
with Fear
(seems like a typo). Yep, typo. Thanks for pointing it out. At one point when typing the Succubus part, I accidentally deleted it and had to re-type it, and left those two words out by mistake.
And Gorefiend, nice suggestion. I'll try working on that.

You forgot to add Dispel under Doomguard abilities.
I know I did; I didn't add it because honestly, I had never seen the Doomguard have that ability before, and wasn't sure if he really did have it at all (plus his
wowhead page
doesn't list the ability). I'll test it out in-game just to have confirmation before I add it.
Tested it. He does have the ability, I suppose I just never noticed. Will edit that in.
